The NIC,Dist Centre, Nagpur is setup in 1988 located in the premises of Collectorate, Nagpur for providing technical support and guidance in implementation of computerisation and create socio-economic datababase in the district.Also to provide the NICNET services for data transmission from District to Mantralaya, Mumbai and vice versa.

In NIC,District Centre Setup having -

One Server(Win 2003 server), one Linux server (P- IV), 2 Clients (win-XP) machines and MFD, Scanner with 

5-KVA & 2 KVA UPS power supply.

2 Mbps Leased Line, Router , 24 port switch &  Sky blaster V-Sat with  16 Port hub for data transmission, e-mail and network connectivity with other Govt. Depts. like Collectorate, High Court, Passport, Dept. of Post, CGHS, Immigration  etc.

Video Conferencing (VC) Facility using EVCS system over IP Network of NIC.

  Payroll System :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA , MAHARASHTRA

This application (under MS-DOS) is developed to generate monthly pay bills and schedules. Payroll keeps track of history data & generates annual reports. Accountant General and Directorate of Account & Treasury (DAT) have approved and prescribed this package.

  Project ZP-2001 :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA , MAHARASHTRA

NIC's development of application packages for Zilla Parishad (ZP). ZP-2001 contains seven application packages to automate day today working of Zilla Parishad. Applications are client server based and also support Web usage. List of the applications is given below. Individual Beneficiary System (IBS),Tendering and Work Monitoring System (TWMS),Zilla Parishad Accounting System (ZPAS),Grievance Monitoring System (GMS),Establishment Information System (EIS),Tapal Information System (TIS),RuralSoft 2000.

  Collectorate 2000 :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA, MAHARASHTRA             

The package provides an Administrative/Personnel/Accounts/Public Interface. These applications are developed using VB6, Seagate Crystal Report 7, GIST SDK, Visual Interdev 6 and support Devanagari script under Windows platform with GUI interface. List of the applications is given below -

Single Window System (SWS),Land Acquisition System (LAS),SGY System (SGYS),Civil Supply System ( CSS-D & CSS-T ),Tapal Information System (TIS), Establishment Information System, Revenu Officers Performance Apprisal System (ROPAS), Land Acquisition and Valuation Systeme (LAVS), Collectorate Expenditure Monitoring System (CEMS), Small Savings System (SSS), Greivance Monitoring System (GMS) etc.

  Record Room Information System :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA , MAHARASHTRA

The package is developed for implementation in the record rooms of State Government offices.  Record Room Information System S/W is already installed and training has been given to Concern staff all collector office and Z.P.  

Employment Gurantee Scheme :- 

The weekly data under EGS Schmes (Proforma-A,B,C) is sent to NIC,Mumbai by generating

XML files through MIS software.

  Rainfall Recording :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA , MAHARASHTRA

This S/W is used for the computarsation of rainfall in different tahsils of Nagpur District. It generate the reports of daily rainfall, average rainfall etc.Taluka wise rainfall values are essential for planning seed distribution, fertilizer movement, pesticide availability, deciding drought or flooded area for announcing subsidies

   Agriculture Produce Market Information System(APM) :- Developed by : STATE UNIT - MAHARASHTRA , MAHARASHTRA.

It is a communication based system and brings agricultural marketing information at the door step of the agriculturist. It captures the most recent market arrival and rates for various regulated commodities for all the major Agricultural Produce Marketing Committees (APMC) in Maharashtra, and creates a central database.Nearly 31 APMCs regularly send and receive data on a daily basis.The daily data volume being received at the central server is about 30KB.

 Land Record System :-  Land is a valuable asset of human being Documents relating to these lands are kept at safe place. This document forms a “Land Record” In rural areas, owner of land can be finding out from village form No 7/12. This is called as Record of Rights. In Urban areas these are called as property Register Card. This gives you comprehensive extracts of a given property.   

    Lokshahi Din :-  Lokshahi Din is celebrated on first Monday of every month. No. Of complaints receives against various Departments. This S/W maintains the information of all complaints and generate the report for District Administration.

   Rural Soft Software :- Rural Soft software is developed by NIC, New Delhi. This s/w is installed in DRDA, ZP, and  used for Computerization of various Govt. Schemes.

  Z.P. Accounting System Software :-  Z.P. Accounting System software is already installed in Z.P. useful for the computerization of Finance Dept. of Zilla Parished, Nagpur                                                  

  CNAA S/W :-  CNAA S/W is installed in District Health Office and training has been given to concerned staff of DHO. DHO using CNAA S/W

The DACNET project is implemented at Six locations in Nagpur Dist. and AGMARKNET project is implemented at Two locations.
